Young Indians

Puja Garodia - Yi Net-Chair

Being in Yi is exciting, demanding and as well as rewarding. The world needs people who are committed to the needs of others. Yi is a platform for those with a strong desire to improve people’s lives. It helps me to improve the society as well as my own self.

Shabbir Akhtar - Yi Net- Co-Chair

The world around is filled with misery -- starvation, disease, exploitation, the brutal indifference of great wealth side by side with appalling poverty, the enmity between man and man. In such a situation we can either wear blinders to concentrate only on our lives or we can change the world in the little ways that we can. Yi allows me to do the latter -- we can, we will.

Rishit Bhatt - Yi Net Treasurer

I joined Yi because it's a platform where you can take social activities which one does for the needy people to another level with support of other members.

Priyanka Mantri - Yi Net Executive Committee

Yi gives me an opportunity to reach the mass and their needs. It gives me an opportunity in contributing for a change for a better tomorrow.

Poulami Ray - Yi-Net Executive Committee

I see YI as the platform where one can not only discover a new identity in him but can also act as the voice of the young Indians, playing a role in the upliftment of not just a ‘single community’ but ‘the society’ as a whole.
