My Project Experience at DSMS Group
The Summer Internship Project experience helps to bridge between theory and practice.
With this mantra in mind, my team members (Bhawna Phauja and Belal Ahmed) and I took part in a project called, ‘How Small Scale Initiative adds to Economic Value’, which is a case study on Benshul Haat, at DSMS Group of Institutions, Durgapur, West Bengal.
This project consumed a huge amount of work, research and dedication from all the team members. Today, I can say on behalf of my team, that the implementation of this project would not have been possible without the support of my institution, Globsyn Business School, for providing us with the necessary expertise and technical support, my faculty members for supporting and hand-holding us in our moments of confusion and many other individuals. Their immense depth of knowledge and steadfast guidance have been a constant source of motivation and sustenance during this learning curve of our lives.
We, my team members and I, are forever indebted to them because without their superior knowledge and experience, this project would have lacked in quality and thus their support has been essential. While working on this project, we had one of the best experiences and exposures that any student can ever hope for. Not only did we got to learn various marketing aspects and management skills but the high point of this journey took place when our journal was published in ISOR.
My team members and I, would want to take this opportunity to humbly express our gratitude not only to our institution or professors but also towards our batch mates, for their kind co-operation and encouragement, which helped us in the successful completion of this project. We will cherish the memories of this journey and implement the knowledge gained, during our internship days at DSMS Group of Institutions, in our future careers.
