Women’s Empowerment implies the creation of an environment for women where they can initiate decisions of their own for their respective personal benefits as well as for the society. It results in increased and improved social, economic, political and legal strength of women to ensure their rights in society. These could range from women living their life with a sense of respect, dignity and self-worth, with full control of their life at their home and workplace, get equal opportunities for education and employment without any gender bias and avail safe and comfortable working environment. Empowerment of women across all sections of society benefits the under-employed and unemployed for the overall development of society and the nation.
This Seminar, was addressed by women achievers who have been able to rise above their gender, has been designed for corporate executives, researchers in the subject and concerned individuals for an appreciation of the issues involved.
