National Scholarship Program 2019

At Globsyn Business School we believe in rewarding hard work and recognizing excellence achieved by meritorious students in their academic endeavors and in all other areas of life from a holistic point of view. As a part of this ongoing initiative, in 2019 it is proposed to offer 7 Scholarships in PGDM and PGPIB Programs.

A)  Merit Scholarship:

AND

ACADEMIC CGPA in GBS ≥ 6.5 average at the time of 3rd semester (after publication of SIP grades) in Institution Activities, Co-curricular and Extra Curricular Activities, KYLF, etc. as reviewed by the Faculty Council over the 4 Semesters.

Two such scholarships would be awarded valued at Rs. 30,000/- each in two installments. However, 50% will be deducted from 2nd last Installment and 50% will be deducted in the last installment.

 

B)  Sports Scholarship:

Students achieving recognition or excellence from prominent bodies/associations at the State or National level in any outdoor or indoor event.
One such scholarship would be awarded valued at Rs. 30,000/- if at the National level and or Rs. 30,000/- at the State or Regional level.

 

C)  Arts Scholarship:

Students achieving recognition or excellence from prominent bodies/associations at the Regional or National level in any areas such as Debate, Quiz, Dance, Drama etc.
Two such scholarship would be awarded valued at Rs. 30,000/- if at the National level and or Rs. 30,000/- at the State or Regional level.

 

D)  Economic Scholarship:

Extremely meritorious students whose parents or guardians income falls below the minimum tax-free slab as per the Income Tax Act will be eligible for the same.
Two such scholarship would be issued of Rs. 30,000/-.

 

Application Procedure for GBS National Scholarship

  • All applications for the above to be submitted in the Registrar’s Office in the requisite format with copies of substantive evidence within 1 month of the start of AY.
  • All shortlisted applications will be interviewed by a committee chaired by Dean, in the presence of 2 other senior faculties, including but not limited to Principal within 1 month of the closure of allapplications.
  • Recommendations of the committee based on the outline of the abovewill be sent to the Managing Trustee forfinal approval.
