Designed for the academically consistent student, the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme provides for strong curricula based learning and an Indian MBA experience coupled with a wide area of study.
Recognizing the importance of blended learning as the future of academic pedagogy, Globsyn Business School (GBS) has collaborated with the Harvard Business School Online, and has integrated its ‘Business Analytics’ and ‘Entrepreneurship Essentials’ programmes to enhance the GBS post-graduate management programmes for Batch 2021-23. All future students will now get the opportunity to study real business problems, or learn how to turn an idea into a viable venture through these world-class integrated programmes, which will make them more relevant in the post-COVID-19 business environment.
‘Business Analytics’ introduces quantitative methods used to analyze data and make better management decisions. This course is not only based on demystifying data and strengthening analytical skills, but also focuses on honing the students’ understanding of key concepts, managerial judgment, and ability to apply course concepts to real business problems. ‘Entrepreneurship Essentials’, on the other hand, is for students who looking for an idea to set upon their entrepreneurial journey. This course explains how entrepreneurs run structured experiments to validate ideas, refine business strategies, gain traction in the marketplace, and raise capital to create value and grow their business, among others. GBS, through this careful mapping programme structures, is bringing to its young managers global standards of management education that will enable them to become business leaders who are job creators and not job seekers.
These integrated programmes have been structured to help students prepare either for fast track corporate management AICTE approved careers, or pursue further academic studies either in India or abroad and go on to either contribute towards research and development of the management sciences, or join the academic community, or pursue their entrepreneurial vision. Open by design the options for students are virtually limitless with avenues to work in a variety of fields ranging from Government assignments to NGO’s etc.
Based on Globsyn’s triad of Innovation, Research and Technology, this programme is augmented with access to real-time research driven case studies, journals, articles etc., from the dedicated Research Cell, as well as getting geared for life-long learning by getting exposed to the discipline of self-paced learning aided by eGlobsyn – a Web 2.0 based Learning and Content Management System with social plug-ins.
