Ishita Bose (Director – Corporate Communication & CSR)

Ishita says: “To serve is beautiful, but only if it is done with joy, a pure heart and a free mind. In order to touch a human life, we have to make them feel loved and respected. Some experiences in life makes us realize that sometimes all that a person needs is a hearty conversation, and in that process, make a friend. Social work gives me happiness and self-satisfaction. Since my childhood, I’ve been involved in various social works in my school, Patha Bhavan. And during my college days in Lady Brabourne, where I was a student of sociology, I worked for the underprivileged people in our society. I believe that making a special effort to help other people makes an individual different from others. KYLF is that platform through which we not only feel when we see people suffering, rather we step up and make a move. I am so happy to be given this platform of KYLF where I can proceed with that great work and in the process develop myself comprehensively to be a better manager and a better individual.

No, human beings should not only use their mind, body and speech for themselves, but also to serve others. ‘It is better to give than to receive.’ The venerable aphorism is drummed into our heads from childhood. But it holds a deeper truth, giving is a powerful pathway to personal growth and lasting happiness.”
