Since its inception, Globsyn Business School (GBS) boasts of 100% placements for its batches and recently has been lauded with Education Excellence Award for ‘Best B-School in Placements’ at EduMeet 2018 organized by ASSOCHAM, India. The B-School’s Corporate Relationship Program (CRP) is manned by a dedicated team of highly motivated professionals supported by a nationwide forum of alumni and faculty.
Till date, over 360 corporates have hired our students. These corporate partners have not only recruited our students over the years for SIP or Final Placement, but have also been an integral part of the management curriculum through the Corporate Connect sessions, and encouraged the young managers with their presence in Beyond Education activities.
In today’s world, work experience is slowly becoming a mandatory component to understand the nuances of the corporate world. The Summer Internship Program (SIP) helps the young managers to experience real-life application of the knowledge acquired in classrooms, while working with reputed corporate houses.
At Globsyn Business School, SIP – an integral part of the B-School’s academic curriculum – is one of the key components that help shape the students into younger managers. The 8 – 10 weeks SIP opportunity is extended to all first-year students of the B-School, which allows them to contribute their knowledge, and enhance their cognitive and interpersonal skills, whilst working with various national and multinational business houses across various sectors in the global corporate world.
The B-School’s ‘Globsyn Award for Excellence in SIP’ has been conceived to appreciate the research acumen of the students and ascertain the desired level of their performance in internships. The students based on their quality of SIP report and presentations are evaluated by a faculty panel, who filters the most qualified of the lot for the final presentation. An eminent panel of judges, comprising of renowned corporate professionals, goes on to choose and recognise the most promising projects ideas.
Final Placements are opportunities given to students to give shape to the skills and knowledge gained during their academic journey and implements those in their industry of choice. This opportunity also increases their knowledge of a corporate sector, allowing them to make better informed decisions about future career goals.
More than 80 corporates visit our campus to hire the pupils every year. In 2019, GBS once again achieved a 100% succession rate in its Campus Recruitment Drive, with at least 10 recruitment opportunities being offered to every student during their final placements.
